• Stat-A-Dyne™ Shoulder

  • What are the main advantages of the Stat-A-Dyne Shoulder splint?
    - The splint goes beyond anatomical norm to overcome soft tissue & mechanical give allowing end range of motion goals to be achieved.
    - The splint is offered in dynamic, static, or dual function (both static and dynamic) in order to meet insurance clinical guidelines for coverage.
Adhesive capsulitis. There are two forms to this orthopedic condition.
1.) Primary adhesive capsulitis - This is the classic "frozen shoulder" with no known origin of onset (aka) insidious. Primary adhesive capsulitis follows a three-year pattern. Year one the shoulder begins to freeze, year two the shoulder is frozen, year three the shoulder begins to thaw.
2.) Secondary adhesive capsulitis - The patient develops a frozen shoulder due to trauma and or surgery.
  • "I have used a variety of static and dynamic orthoses for the upper extremity for more than 20 years and STAT-A-DYNE is by far the most adjustable, comfortable and effective device of this kind. I just love the flexibility the units provide to accommodate each individual's anatomy and condition. It's the best of both worlds if you need a dynamic component to stretch but easily utilized as a static progressive unit which has been more tolerable with the population I treat. My patients are typically the most compliant and quickly independent with STAT-A-DYNE compared to other devices. Increased comfort = increased compliance = increased effectiveness in gaining range of motion. Local reps are on top of their game, timing is everything! "
